Kora has created a new e-commerce channel to be used by Rcs Libri for the sale of books, DVDs and films.
The new website, libreriarizzoli.it, is devoted to all book, DVD and film fans who like to shop securely online by searching through the various product categories.
Intervention strategy
The new Rizzoli e-commerce website is part of RCS Digital, which this year achieved record results with its other sites corriere.it and gazzetta.it.
The aims of the project were numerous and Kora was involved in many different ways: from the creation of the communication concept, to the interaction design, right up to the technological aspects, Kora made available its teams best creative and conceptual resources.
In line with the values and image of RCS, the site will provide the following functions:
- direct and well-structured access to the product catalogue thanks to advanced search tools and access categories.
- advanced functions enabling users to leave feedback on a product.
- tools enabling purchase listings (wishlist) and information sharing (Purchase as a gift) to encourage word of mouth sales.
- sections devoted to presentations, special offers and latest products to always keep readers updated on the latest news concerning their particular areas of interest (newsletter).
Creative design & technical development
The look and feel of the site's graphics interface reflect high standards of precision and clarity of information. Via the simple and intuitive interface users can quickly search for content.
www.hoepli.it will be responsible for the sales, logistics and customer service of Rizzoli's site.
